Environmental Control Panel is a mobile application to enhance the management, monitoring and forecasting in spanish ports. It is available for the ports of Barcelona, Algeciras Bay, Bilbao, Gijón, Avilés, Ferrol, Marín, Vigo, Sevilla, Cadiz, Tenerife, Las Palmas, Málaga, Motril, Melilla, Almería, Cartagena, Tarragona and Baleares.
This application shows some important points of the ports in a map, where a 3-day forecast is shown for the following parameters:
On every point thresholds can be defined in order to show different colors depending on the threshold alert value defined by the user:
Alerts can also be defined for points and every day an e-mail or SMS will be sent containing information about the point. The alert can be defined as a combination of different parameters.

The mobile application is capable of exploiting the high resolution models and alert system developed by Puertos del Estado on top of Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service (CMEMS) Products.
Puertos del Estado has already developed its high resolution models nested into CMEMS products. The resulting downstream service is stored in a proprietary database that will be accessed in order to gather the necessary information and to present this information in the mobile application to the end user.

Every day data from Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service (CMEMS) Products is taken and based on them the 3-day prediction is calculated and stored. This application allows users to watch this information at the quickest of glances and take actions depending on it.
